한글 학회에서는 오는 10월 9일 558돌 한글날을 맞이하여, 외국인들에게 세종 대왕의 한글 창제 정신과 우리 말글의 우수성을 널리 알리기 위하여 '558돌 한글날 기념 외국인 우리 말글 자랑 큰잔치'의 하나로 '제6회 외국인 한국어 발표대회'를 엽니다. 이에, 많은 외국인들의 참가를 바랍니다.
1. 참가 신청 기한 : 2004년 10월 10일(일)까지
2. 제출 내용 : 참가 신청서(정해진 양식)
3. 발표 주제(선택) : ㄱ) 한글 ㄴ) 세종 대왕
ㄷ) 한국 문화 체험담
ㄹ) 독후감(한국 문학 작품: 시, 소설 등)
※ 5분 발표
4. 참가 자격 : 한국어를 할 수 있는 모든 외국인 (단, 재외 동포 제외)
5. 발표 대회 일정 : 10월 24일 일요일 (한글 회관 강당)
6. 시상 :
으뜸기림(1명) - 문화관광부 장관 트로피와 상금(70만원)
버금기림(2명) - 한글 학회 회장 트로피와 상금(각 50만원)
추킴기림(3명) - 한글 학회 회장 트로피와 상금(각 30만원)
뽑힘기림(약간명) - 한글 학회 회장 트로피와 상금(각 20만원)

The 6th Korean Speech Contest
In commemoration of the Five Hundred Fifty Eight Hangeul Day
Application
To commemoration Hangeul Day on October 9, 2004, the Korean Language Society invites nonnative speakers residing in Korea to participate in the 6th. Korean Speech Contest hosted by the Society.
1. Application Deadline: October 10, 2004(Sunday)
2. Requirments: Application form(see the attached)
3. Choose one of the following topics:
1) Hangeul 2) King Sejong
3) My Experience of Korean Culture
4) Report on Korean literature(poem, novels, etc)
※ Five Minute Speech
4. Qulification: Non-native Speakers of Korean
5. Schedule: October 24, 2004(Hangeul Building a lecture hall)
6. Awards:
1) The First Prize(1) - Award and Prize Money by the Minister of Culture and Tourism
2) The Second Prize(2) - Award and Prize Money by the President of the Korean Language Society
3) The Third Prize(3) - Award and Prize Money by the President of the Korean Language Society
4) The Fourth Prize - Award and Prize Money by the President of the Korean Language Society
